CaMeRMAN GANGA THO RAMBABU

CGR: INDICATES PURI'S COMEBACK AFTER DEVUDU CHESINA MANSHULU BUT AS A GS' SUCCEEDOR , COULDNT REACH PK FANS' EXPECTATIONS,STILL A MUST-WATCH.

The most hyped movie 'CGR' for Pawan Kalyan after his trend-setting 'Gabbar Singh' sets high targets for it , releases yesterday with Puri Jagannadh coming back after a quite disappointing movie 'Devudu Chesina Manshulu'. The movie was seeming to make audience despo for Tickets even more than for Mahesh's Businessman.
The movie starts off on an ordinary note with a routine Telugu- Superhero entry of PK but the impressive part being Hero turns a reporter which is somewhat different and Puri catches it well in action scenes. The comedy scenes by Ali were good but not that sarcastic enough missing  full-fledge fun. It clearly outcases Puri's decreased effort on sets ( making the movie in less time) from reputed directors and dialogues writers like Trivikram who still make us believe that they always have that witticism with them. Thus, though concept attracts initially , The movie seems a bit boring at the end of the first half.
Neverthless, Puri backs up his talent in the second half. He highlights his pithy observations and his dialogues always match with the common realistic conversation of majority of people. Even, he keeps the Telangana issue neutral throughout the movie inspite of raising various  issues(God knows why the movie is banned in TG regions today). He also derides controversies of Media
using evergreen Brahmi with vivacious examples of Pawan Kalyan's personal life which was really impressive. The dialogue about girls being ordinary unless hyped with hypothetical comparisons by Men was a cracker.Even in the message part of the movie , PK starts off with a very simple but a witty sentence " Saadaranamga manam pani chesi alasipoyi TV choostham. Pani leni vallu kooda TV ae choostaru". That really adds humour to the movie.
Coming to the performances ,  PK as a professional star, does his part well but was not extraordinary. Tamannah's character is not a typical Telugu girl, thus she fails to impress the Telugu audience. The worst part of the movie being the choice of Music Director (Manisharma) who fails to impress the audience all the way.The background score (hopefully not copied ) was the better of  what seemed to be Amateur Audio score.
Overall, The movie , which seems to bomb at the Box office , due to various issues , hopefully succeeds as it deserves it at least for its concept and the inspiration it drives and for its realistic dialogues ,keeping aside the fact that it is PK's movie after Gabbar singh.
I'll rate it : 3.5/5 ( not an entertainer like Gabbar Singh but a definitely a better concept than it for youth (you yourself :P )
