Why English movies don't have songs?

Image
During my childhood, I always wondered how could a Hero and a Heroine in an Indian movie simultaneously compose the same song in a duet, when in reality, most people can’t even compose a single song in their entire life. I was shy to ask this question until I saw my first English movie, Titanic, which had a beautiful sound track which was not embedded in the movie. Directors strive to impinge a vicarious feel of the movie within the viewer  and  involve in its characters. In such efforts, a duet song or a male protagonist synchronizing song with a party dancer within seconds (even like Senorita song in ‘Zindagi na Milegi Dobara’ of Hindi Movie) might oust the audience back to reality, making the director’s efforts futile. Exceptionally, English movies have songs which are either background scores or sung with assumable practice, but are not showcased as instantaneously composed.  Depiction of feelings in an album song is generally by the actual musician, which ...

Peculiarities of Various Tollywood Music Directors

Friends , Many of us  keep our ears blocked for most of the time with earphones or Headphones (cleaning the ears purpose also being solved :P) by listening to Various Songs. When we being 'Telugu Talli' infantry (biddalam :P), we mostly listen to Tollywood Songs which are composed mostly in the recent times by either of these professionals. Chakri,Manisharma,Devisri Prasad, M.M.Keeravani, S.S.Thaman,Sandeep Chowtha, Harris Jayaraj, Yuvan Shankar Raja and fortunately World's maestro A.R.Rehman. All these people except Rehman and Yuvan , have peculiarities and Hilarious things about their music. 1) Chakri : This man always wants noise in his songs (Gola :P) . He also loves to take songs from foreign albums(u know many). He,nevertheless , makes some melodies which really sound good forever. He is a big Shelter( Anda) for the industry :P but he seems out of the top Movies' preference list nowadays. 2) Manisharma : He is the typical orthodox Tolly music director. His Ba...

CaMeRMAN GANGA THO RAMBABU

CGR: INDICATES PURI'S COMEBACK AFTER DEVUDU CHESINA MANSHULU BUT AS A GS' SUCCEEDOR , COULDNT REACH PK FANS' EXPECTATIONS,STILL A MUST-WATCH.                                                                                                                        The most hyped movie 'CGR' for Pawan Kalyan after his trend-setting 'Gabbar Singh' sets high targets for it , releases yesterday with Puri Jagannadh coming back after a quite disappointing movie 'Devudu Chesina Manshulu'. The movie was seeming to make audience despo for Tickets even more than for Mahesh's Businessman.                                 ...

ELECTIONS @ NITW

(this article purely based on pithy observation.Resemblances only coincidental no pinpointing from my side.)                                                                                                  As majority of the colleges have, our college has also got student council being elected by students directly, which notion seems student-friendly method. But what most people dont ponder over is the actual controversial politics that takes place because of the elections in premier institutions like NITW,the reason being NIT dominated over 60% by telugu speaking students.                                      Yes,AP guys strive to dominate the politic...

EEGA - TOLLYWOOD'S TREND SETTER

I review "EEGA" as I watched it twice. It is a movie which is mandatory for all telugu cinegoers mainly because it has a different approach storywise and secondly it has been made a routine telugu movie in the end as Rajamouli felt that Tolly audience won't accept fully a movie of Hollywood genre (type).            The movie,as everyone knew the storyline from the trailer itself, was based only on cinematography ,in which Rajamouli excelled with his usual victory fame.Coming to the graphics, though it looked ordinary after watching english epics like avatar,it had the best graphics ever in tollywood cinema. The feelings of the "eega" were expressed with good background score from M.M.Kreem (though seemed like copied ) gave the feel of  a pixar movie which being the highlight of the movie. Coming to the starring, everyone gave their best as they had no option working under Rajamouli(else they will suffer punishments like Kajal had in M...

GANGS OF WASSEYPUR MOVIE REVIEW - INTERESTING

GANGS OF WASSEYPUR is a typical hindi movie of Eastern Indian slang and Bihari mannerisms. The movie resembles a bit in plot to RGV's 'Raktha Charithra',but that was based on a political vengeance of AP origin and this had its Bihari features like Village love, Enjoyable vulgarity and the vengeance part was violent and realistic. It mainly revolves around Muslim families whose culture was depicted very lucratively and background of the movie was new.                                 Castwise, Manoj Bajpayee was at his best retrieving his capability as a lead role player and the other actors were decent as they weren't the crowd-pulling actors but sure they were crowd-moving actors.Actresses were pretty and played their part well.Cinematography was innovative and interesting too.The only problem with the movie being the hindi accent which is difficult for novice hindi learners like Hyderabadis ( Maddus)....

GOLDEN NIGHT- SENSATION OF NIT WARANGAL

Being a student of NIT Warangal, I proudly confess that the kind and quality of ragging that happens in NITW  is  unbeatable. It all starts off with a sweet fear in the junior’s face while facing seniors for the first time to the sore marks on the same face at the end of the year but with a grave smile of Archimedes that he is now a senior.                                       Namely , golden night is an unofficial event at NITW which takes place when seniors decide to call it (torture/vengeance/even attitude of juniors)  a day and so they make it all in a night. This event(sensation rather) depends on the different regions of people having their own accord for the occasion to happen.Generally, when the year is on brink of end, the s...
